Super Intalox Saddle is a kind of high-performance packing material that is mainly used in the towers of chemical, petrochemical, refining, and environmental protection industries as a key component for gas-liquid or liquid-liquid mass transfer processes. It is an optimized version of the traditional Intalox Saddle, retaining its saddle shape but modifying the side of the packing material. The traditional Intalox Saddle has a smooth curved side, while the Super Intalox Saddle replaces it with a sawtooth or textured raised side. This design increases the space between the packing material, which is beneficial for better dispersion and flow of gas and liquid within the packing layer.
Material:
Super intalox saddle can be made from different materials to suit different application environments, such as ceramic, polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE). Each material has its specific range of application, such as ceramic material being suitable for high-temperature and highly corrosive environments, while plastic material has a lower cost and is suitable for general chemical environments.

Features:
- High mass transfer efficiency: The unique wavy design on the edge of super intalox saddle increases the surface area of the packing, also increasing the contact area between the packing and providing more void space. This facilitates the flow and dispersion of gas and liquid, reducing fluid resistance and improving mass transfer efficiency.
- Higher flooding point: The packing layer can withstand higher gas velocities without causing liquid entrainment.
- Lower energy consumption: Compared to Intalox Saddle, it can provide lower pressure loss, meaning that under the same operating conditions, system energy consumption can be reduced.
